No Experience? No Problem

Beginner scuba diving in Havelock is designed for people with zero experience. Before you enter the water, your PADI-certified instructor walks you through everything: how to breathe through the regulator, how to equalize pressure, hand signals, and what to expect underwater. The whole briefing takes about 20 to 30 minutes, and then you are in.

What Happens During a Beginner Dive?

You will start in shallow water to get comfortable breathing with scuba gear. Once you are relaxed, your instructor guides you to the reef and stays close by your side the entire time. Most beginner dives last around 30 minutes underwater, with a total experience time of 90 minutes including the briefing.
